QUARTERLY ACTIVITIES REPORT
FOR THE PERIOD ENDED 30 JUNE 2026
HIGHLIGHTS
• Thailand Downstream Entry Advanced: Hastings progressed its binding transaction to acquire
a 49% interest in a hydrometallurgical Mixed Rare Earth Chloride (MREC) plant at Kabin Buri,
Thailand (Term Sheet executed 31 March 2026), with consideration capped at US$15 million
payable largely in shares and production-linked deferred payments, establishing Hastings as a
midstream participant in the global rare earths supply chain.
• Thai Plant Flowsheet and Offtake Framework Confirmed: During the Quarter, Hastings
released full details of the proprietary seven-stage caustic-cracking and hydrochloric acid
leaching process flowsheet for the Kabin Buri plant and executed a Framework Offtake
Agreement with Enuo Holdings for African monazite concentrate feedstock, completing a
feedstock-to-product operating model ahead of first MREC output.
• $1.0 Million Strategic Investment Secured: Hastings completed a $1.0 million placement to
Malaysian mining group Malaco Mining Sdn Bhd, with 2,739,726 new shares issued on 23 June
2026. The investment broadened the Company’s register and introduced an aligned regional
strategic investor.
• Ongoing Capital Management: Further tranches of shares were issued from the conversion of
listed HASO options during the Quarter, including 91,827 shares (20 April 2026) and 2,941,010
shares (4 May 2026) under the March 2024 prospectus, ahead of HASO options expiring on 1
May 2026.
• Major Post-Quarter Catalysts - Updated DFS and Thailand Expansion: Subsequent to
Quarter end, Hastings released an updated Definitive Feasibility Study for Yangibana Stage 1
confirming a pre-tax NPV₈ of A$649 million and 34% IRR. Wyloo has commenced a formal sale
process for its 60% Yangibana joint venture interest, and Hastings announced plans to double
planned Thailand MREC capacity to 12,000tpa on the back of strong inbound offtake demand.
Hastings Technology Metals Ltd (ASX:HAS) (“Hastings” or “the Company”), focused rare earth
elements and critical minerals company, is pleased to present its Quarterly Activities Report for the
three-month period ended 30 June 2026 (“Quarter”).
The Quarter was defined by continued execution of Hastings’ mine-to-MREC downstream processing
strategy, with the Company advancing its 49% acquisition of a hydrometallurgical plant in Thailand
alongside disciplined capital management to fund the transaction and support the Yangibana Rare
Earths and Niobium Project joint venture with Wyloo Metals ('Wyloo').

Hastings’ Chief Executive Officer, Vince Catania commented:
”Hastings in this quarter has been able to provide its shareholders and the market a clear pathway to
production which we are targeting Q1 of 2027. We signed the Framework Offtake Agreement for monazite
feedstock within weeks of securing our 49% interest in the Kabin Buri Hydromet plant, and by the end of the
quarter we had a fully proven seven-stage flowsheet and welcomed to the Hastings team Project Manager in
Rwi Hau Lim to lead the construction of our Hydromet Plant in Thailand. The momentum hasn't slowed since
quarter-end: the updated Yangibana JV DFS confirmed a $649 million NPV and 34% IRR on one of the best
NdPr deposits in the world, and the strong offtake interest in our Thailand MREC has encouraged us to double
our planned capacity now rather than post-production start.”
DOWNSTREAM PROCESSING: THAILAND HYDROMETALLURGICAL MREC PLANT
(49% INTEREST)
Strategic Rationale
The Thailand transaction is the centrepiece of Hastings' from a pure upstream developer to an
integrated mine-to-MREC rare earths producer, providing a materially faster and more capital-efficient
route into downstream Mixed Rare Earth Chloride (MREC) production and cash flow using third-party
feedstock well ahead of Yangibana's mining schedule.

Transaction Terms1
Hastings executed a binding Term Sheet with Enuo Holdings Pte Ltd on 31 March 2026 to acquire a 49%
interest in the hydrometallurgical MREC processing facility at Kabin Buri, in Thailand's Eastern Economic
Corridor.
• Consideration for the 49% interest is capped at US$15 million, structured across equity, deferred
payments and commissioning support, aligning payment with delivery of production rather than
upfront cash outlay.
• The facility is providing Hastings with a near-term pathway to MREC production and cash flow
independent of the Yangibana Stage 1 timeline.
• Completion remains subject to finalisation of transaction documentation, which subsequent to
Quarter end was extended to reflect the expanded plant capacity referred to below.
Process Flowsheet and Engineering2
On 22 April 2026, Hastings released a comprehensive overview of the plant's proprietary seven-stage
caustic-cracking and hydrochloric acid leaching process flowsheet (see Figure 2). This initial
announcement noted that at Phase 1 nameplate design, the process converts 5,000tpa of Monazite
Concentrate (≥54% TREO) feedstock into 6,000tpa of MREC flakes (45% TREO basis), via grinding, caustic
cracking, water leaching/filtration, acid dissolution, purification, concentration/crystallisation and a
parallel by-product (trisodium phosphate) recovery circuit. To lead construction, commissioning and
testing at the plant, the Company appointed Rwi Hau Lim as Project Manager, a hydrometallurgical
process engineer with direct rare earths experience, having worked at Lynas Malaysia's Kuantan
processing facility.

• MREC flake is increasingly preferred by global oxide separators over carbonate-based
intermediates, feeding directly into solvent extraction without re-dissolution, commanding a
sustained price premium (approximately 20% over carbonate equivalents per Shanghai Metals
Market index pricing cited by the Company).
• The Company outlined a structural operating cost advantage from the plant's location in
Thailand's Eastern Economic Corridor, with indicative labour, electricity, hydrochloric acid and
caustic soda costs materially below typical Western Australian benchmarks.
Indicative Financial Projections (Unaudited Management Estimates)
The 22 April 2026 announcement included indicative, unaudited financial projections for the Hydromet
Plant at its original 5,000tpa feed / 6,000tpa MREC (Phase 1) and 12,000tpa MREC (Phase 2) design, which
the Company stressed were management estimates only, were not a profit forecast, had not been
independently reviewed, and should not be relied upon. Those projections have since been superseded:
subsequent to Quarter end, on 14 July 2026, Hastings announced that the expanded 10,000tpa feed /
12,000tpa MREC capacity has been incorporated into the initial plant build (rather than staged as a later
Phase 2), and updated indicative financial projections reflecting this revised design are set out under
Thailand Plant Capacity Doubled to 12,000tpa MREC under Subsequent Events below.
Feedstock and Offtake3
On 14 April 2026, Hastings announced execution of a binding Framework Offtake Agreement with
Enuo (executed 10 April 2026) for the supply of African-sourced Monazite Concentrate, securing the
raw material feedstock required to commission and operate the Hydromet Plant and establishing a
complete feedstock-to-product operating model. Subsequent to Quarter end, on 14 July 2026, in
anticipation of the increase in Thailand plant production volume referred to under Subsequent Events
below, the Company announced that this baseline supply has been doubled, with Enuo to supply a
minimum 10,000 tonnes per annum of Monazite Concentrate (up from the original 5,000 tonnes per
annum).
• Enuo will supply 10,000 tonnes per annum of Monazite Concentrate (≥54% TREO, dry basis),
delivered CIF Laem Chabang, Thailand, over an initial two-year term with a one-year renewal
option.
• The Monazite Concentrate carries approximately 20% NdPr of contained TREO, alongside
dysprosium and terbium (approximately 1.0–1.3% combined), magnet-critical elements distinct
from, and complementary to, Yangibana's own higher-NdPr ore.
• Pricing under individual Purchase Orders issued after successful commissioning is referenced to
monthly average USD index pricing, with quality assurance via independent sampling (SGS or
ALS) at the destination facility.
• The Agreement builds on the existing relationship with Enuo under the January 2026 Technical
Services and Research Agreement covering Yangibana and Brockman metallurgical test work,
extending it from technical collaboration to physical feedstock supply.
The Company also noted at the time that the Hydromet Plant's site (80,000sqm) which includes four
buildings, with supporting infrastructure, supports a longer-term capacity expansion pathway of up to
30,000tpa from 2027, the broader ambition subsequently progressed via the capacity increase
announced post Quarter end (refer to Subsequent Events below).

Quarter Activities
Hastings' 40%-owned Yangibana joint venture, managed and operated by Wyloo Gascoyne, remains the
Company's flagship asset, a fully permitted, shovel-ready project in the Gascoyne region of Western
Australia with more than A$160 million of infrastructure already installed on site, including a 294-room
accommodation village, airstrip, main access road, communications towers and water borefields.
During the Quarter, Wyloo as JV Manager continued technical and financial studies toward an updated
Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) for Yangibana Stage 1, building on the mine-to-oxide strategy that
anchors Hastings' NdPr production pathway. These studies were completed shortly after Quarter end,
delivering materially improved project economics. Refer to Subsequent Events below for full DFS results.
BROCKMAN RARE EARTHS AND NIOBIUM PROJECT
(100% HASTINGS)
The Brockman Rare Earths and Niobium Project (16km southeast of Halls Creek, East Kimberley, WA)
hosts a JORC Mineral Resource of 41.6Mt @ 0.35% Nb₂O₅, alongside heavy rare earths, zirconium and
hafnium.
The Company's wholly owned Brockman Project in the East Kimberley region of Western Australia,
prospective for niobium and heavy rare earths, continues to be assessed alongside Yangibana ore under
the metallurgical Technical Services and Research Agreement with Enuo Holdings, targeting an
integrated flowsheet and niobium by-product value across both projects. No material new results were
reported for Brockman during the period.
SUBSEQUENT EVENTS
The following events occurred after 30 June 2026 and is reported as material subsequent information.
4
Hastings confirms that all material assumptions underpinning the Ore Reserves supporting the Life of Mine Plan in ASX release
dated 6 February 2023, forecast financial information and production targets in the ASX release dated 31 May 2023 and
supplemented by the 16 February 2024 ASX release continue to apply and have not materially changed. In addition, production
targets and forecast financial information are based on Ore Reserves and Mineral Resources (Measured and Indicated), and no
inferred mineral resources nor exploration target is included.

Updated Yangibana Stage 1 DFS (13 July 2026)5
Hastings released an updated Definitive Feasibility Study for Yangibana Stage 1, confirming materially
improved project economics and de-risking the path to a Final Investment Decision. Key outcomes
include:
• Pre-tax NPV₈ of approximately A$649 million and an ungeared pre-tax IRR of 34%, with a payback
period of approximately 2.4 years from first production.
• Initial Stage 1 capital of approximately A$333.4 million for the beneficiation plant and associated
infrastructure, of which Hastings' 40% JV share equates to approximately A$133 million.
• Peak annual concentrate production of 37,000tpa at a grade of 27% TREO, with average life-of-
mine production of approximately 31,570tpa, over a 19-year mine life fully supported by Ore
Reserves (20.93Mt at 0.90% TREO) with no inferred material in the mine schedule.
• 8,524tpa of TREO in concentrate, including 3,090tpa of NdPr concentrate, NdPr represents
approximately 37% of contained TREO in the reserve base and is forecast to generate more than
90% of project revenue, underscoring Yangibana's differentiated ore quality relative to global
peers.
• The DFS confirms the value of more than A$160 million in infrastructure and long-lead
equipment already committed to site, materially reducing the capital and time required to reach
first production relative to a greenfield development.
The updated DFS was completed by Wyloo as JV Manager and represents the technical and financial
foundation for Wyloo's ongoing sale process (below) and Hastings' continued assessment of funding
pathways for its 40% share of Stage 1 capital.
Wyloo Commences Sale Process for 60% Yangibana Interest
Following completion of the updated DFS, Wyloo confirmed it has commenced a formal process to sell
its 60% interest in the Yangibana joint venture, with Wyloo Chief Executive Officer Luca Giacovazzi noting
strong interest from both domestic and international parties. Hastings continues to monitor the process
and its implications for the Company's 40% position and the broader path to Final Investment Decision.
Thailand Plant Capacity Doubled to 12,000tpa MREC6
On 14 July 2026, Hastings announced plans to increase the planned processing capacity of its Thailand
Hydromet plant in Kabin Buri (in which the Company is acquiring a 49% interest from Enuo Holdings Pte
Ltd) from 5,000tpa feed / 6,000tpa MREC output to approximately 10,000tpa feed / 12,000tpa MREC
output, an increase of approximately 100%. The expanded capacity has been incorporated into the initial
plant build rather than a later staged expansion, at an estimated incremental capital cost of
approximately US$3 million, and is expected to improve unit economics by spreading fixed plant costs
across a larger production base.
Completion of the 49% acquisition is being finalised alongside updated transaction documentation,
plant design, contracting arrangements and licence amendments to reflect the increased scale, and
monazite feedstock supply from Enuo has been doubled to 10,000mt per year. Mr Rwi Hau Lim (ex-
