Updated DFS Confirms De-Risked Pathway to Production
YANGIBANA STAGE 1 WITH
Refer ASX Announcement “Updated DFS Confirms De-Risked Pathway to Yangibana Stage 1 Production” dated 13 July 2026
Luca Giacovazzi (CEO, Wyloo):
“Yangibana’s updated DFS reinforces its status as a
capital-light rare earth project with a short runway to
production. Benefiting from significant prior
investment in project infrastructure, Yangibana
delivers compelling economics, including a pre-tax
IRR of 34 per cent and a pre-tax payback period of
just 2.4 years. Supported by simple open-pit mining, a
conventional flotation process, a 19-year mine life,
and with all key permits and environmental approvals
in place, Yangibana is well positioned to become
Australia’s next rare earth producer.
With the updated DFS now complete, Wyloo has
commenced a sale process for its 60% interest in the
Yangibana Joint Venture. We have received strong
interest from a range of domestic and international
parties that recognise not only Yangibana’ s potential
as a near-term producer of rare earth concentrate,
but also the opportunity to leverage existing plant
and equipment to accelerate entry into downstream
processing."

Disclaimer: There is no certainty that further exploration work will result in the determination of Mineral Resources (or Ore Reserves).
Cautionary Statement: The Exploration Target has been prepared and reported in accordance with the 2012 edition of the JORC Code. The potential
quantity and grade of the Exploration Target is conceptual in nature. There has been insufficient exploration to estimate a Mineral Resource for all target
areas reported. It is uncertain if further exploration will result in the estimation of a Mineral Resource.
Competent Person Statement: The information in this announcement that relates to exploration results in relation to the Yangibana Rare Earths and
Niobium Project (“Yangibana Project” or “Yangibana”) and the Centipede Range Project (“Centipede Project” or “Centipede”) and other exploration results, are
based on information compiled by Competent Person, Dr. Louis Schürmann. Dr. Schürmann is a full-time employee of Hastings and Fellow of the
Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (Aus IMM: 308067). Dr Schürmann has sufficient experience relevant to the styles of mineralization and
types of deposits which are covered in this announcement and to the activity which they are undertaking to qualify as a Competent Persons as defined in
the JORC Code. Dr Schürmann consents to the inclusion of this announcement of the matters based on the information and context in which it appears. Dr
Schürmann has +30 years’ experience as an exploration geologist and project manager.
