Approvals
Hastings has received all material approvals for the Yangibana Rare Earths Project including land tenure, a native title agreement, state environmental permit (Ministerial Statement number 1110) and commonwealth environmental permit.
Hastings has been granted all environmental and safety approvals for its early works programme, which includes construction of an access road and accommodation village, and an extension of the access road to the process plant area, which may be used as a temporary exploration camp site and laydown area for long-lead items.
In addition, the following site-wide secondary approvals have been granted to enable the construction phase: 5C water abstraction licenses, and a site-wide works approval and operating licence have been granted for prescribed premises.
